The United States was justified in dropping the Atomic Bomb in Hiroshima because it lead to a quick end to the war, it saved more American lives, and established the United States as a world power; but, they were not justified in dropping the second Atomic Bomb in Nagasaki because Japan's military had no intention of fighting back because of the damage that had taken place in Hiroshima.

Summary

Four years after Japan bombed Pearl Harbor, The United States created the Atomic Bomb. Hundreds of American men were involved in the creation, unaware of its purpose to bomb Hiroshima, Japan. On August 6th, 1945, the Enola Gay (B-29 bomber) approached Hiroshima, carrying 20,000 tons of TNT. Once dropped, it destroyed the city, leaving numerous injured civilians.
